GOSPEL MUSIC IRELAND (GMI) — TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective date: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use gospelmusic.ie (the “Website”), contact us through it, submit content, apply for membership, or make an event booking or other order through it. Please read them before using those services. By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service. Separate terms shown by an event organiser or service provider may also apply to that transaction.
1. WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT US
The Website is operated under the name Gospel Music Ireland (GMI). For questions about these terms or the Website, contact info@gospelmusic.ie or +353 89 466 9024. These contact details do not replace any contact details or legal information shown for a particular event, membership, or service.
2. USING THE WEBSITE
You may use the Website for lawful personal or organisational purposes. You agree not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or submit material that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or harmful. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping any account credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. If you are under 18, use the Website with a parent or guardian’s involvement where required by law.
We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the Website, and may correct or remove content that is inaccurate, unlawful, or inconsistent with these terms. We aim to keep information current, but event details, availability, editorial content, and other information can change. Check the relevant listing or provider for the latest details before relying on them.
3. MEMBERSHIPS, PRICES AND ORDERS
Membership options, benefits, prices, duration, and any applicable conditions are described on the relevant membership or checkout page. The information and total price shown before you submit an order will apply to that order. Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout. A membership is not automatically renewed unless the checkout clearly says so and you expressly agree to that arrangement. Contact us if you need help with an order or membership cancellation. Any refund or cancellation rights provided by law continue to apply.
If products or other paid services are offered through the Website, the description, seller/provider, delivery or fulfilment arrangements, total price, and any applicable cancellation or return terms will be shown before you place the order. These terms do not remove rights you have under consumer law. If a payment, order, or booking is processed by a third-party provider, that provider’s terms may also apply to its service.
4. EVENTS AND BOOKINGS
Event listings are provided to help people discover events. The organiser identified on the event listing is responsible for the event itself, including its programme, venue, access arrangements, age restrictions, and event-specific ticket conditions. Check the listing and booking details carefully before booking; dates, times, venues, prices, and availability may change. A booking is subject to the event-specific information shown at the time you book.
If an event is changed, postponed, cancelled, or a booking needs to be changed, contact the event organiser using the contact details on the listing or booking confirmation. Any applicable refund, cancellation, or rescheduling arrangements are governed by the event-specific terms and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
5. CONTENT YOU SUBMIT
You retain ownership of text, photographs, artwork, music, videos, event details, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and allow the uses described here. You grant GMI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and make reasonable edits to Your Content for the purposes of reviewing it, operating the Website, listing or featuring your material, and promoting GMI, your listing, or the relevant event through GMI’s channels. We will not claim ownership of Your Content. This licence ends when the content is removed, except to the extent copies remain in backups or have already been included in materials distributed before removal.
Submitting content does not guarantee publication or promotion. We may decline, edit for format or clarity, or remove a submission. Where content includes another person’s image, performance, or personal information, you must have the permissions required to share it. Please contact us if you believe material on the Website infringes your rights.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Website’s design, branding, and editorial material belong to GMI or the relevant rights holder. You may view and share links to public pages for non-commercial purposes, but may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit Website material without permission, except where the law allows it. Names, logos, music, images, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
The Website may link to or embed third-party websites and services, including maps, ticketing, or payment services. Those services are controlled by their own providers and terms. GMI is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or transactions. A link or listing does not by itself mean GMI endorses that provider.
7. RESPONSIBILITY AND YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
We provide the Website with reasonable care, but cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors. To the extent permitted by law, GMI is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of the Website, reliance on third-party content or services, or a third party’s event or service. This does not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for fraud, or affect consumer rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
8. PRIVACY, CHANGES AND GOVERNING LAW
Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy available on the Website. We may update these terms from time to time by publishing a revised version here and changing the effective date. The updated terms apply from publication to future use of the Website and new orders; changes do not take away rights already accrued.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law that applies in your country of residence remain unaffected. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
